No. I stutter even when talking to myself. I'm not the only one. We stutter because we have a communication disorder. Maybe he should write a book about tourettes and subconsciousness....

That could be right but I don't see why the brain would consciously or subconsciously choose to stutter and put itself into a stressful situation. Interesting thought though....
