That seems to be the case - medicine stil seems to be only beginning in not only the understanding of neuropsych, but of neurology in general. Things like stuttering we just literally don't know the cause, until some progress is made there ideas with relations to tourettes, dystonia etc are hypothesis. Plausible ones that can be argued, but not proven at all by any clinical, biomedical or anatomical observations.
