Am I the only one?

Am I the only one? I've had my stutter since birth, my mom has it and I believe she got it from her aunt. So, it's genetic. Anyways, it was really bad growing up, I could hardly pronounce any words and to top it all off I had/have ADHD. As I grew older and got into speech classes, I saw slight improvement and was taught various tools to slow myself down. Such as, have a smooth rock in your pocket and when you're speaking, feel the texture of it and it will remind you to slow down. That was all well in good UNTIL I got into my twenties. That's when it got REALLY bad. I now have a tick when I stutter, my face locks up and I look like I'm having a weird orgasm or I'm about to sneeze. My face tightens, my jaw absolutely hurts in certain words, and I smack my lips, alot. So, I was just wondering if anyone else has ticks when they stutter or make absolutely ridiculous faces when trying to even say a sentence.
