I haven't heard of the term music stuttering before but I think I've felt it. Playing music in time in front of others is more challenging than when I'm by myself. Maybe I should try singing more haha...

I don't notice anything overly tense, I think. But I do tend to pause on blocks, and some pressure must be present there. Just not anything painful in my case....
