Does Anyone else have a Arm jerk when they stutter? Hi, I am new here and I am glad I found this forum because it is active. I am basically fluent but in pressure situations I stutter and have been stuttering since I was a child. It has gotten better as I have aged but I have always wondered if I am the only one who often has a physical component to their stutter? There are articles about eye blinks and head movements but my arms often get tight and jerk or I have a thing I do with my fingers. It's usually an arm movement though. Often I will grasp a pen to try to deaden it or my keys but that can work and not work because I end up dropping them or the keys make noise. So it works and it doesn't. Just wondering because there is little if any info online about people with arm jerks when they stutter. Thanks, Ivan :)
