Has anyone ever experienced TMJ?

Has anyone ever experienced TMJ? I have been having a TMJ bout this past month. I am thinking my stuttering has caused it. For those that don’t know, TMJ is when the joint that controls jaw movement becomes misaligned. In my case it has resulted in pain and a feeling of popping in and out of place when doing things involving jaw movement such as eating, laughing, talking, etc. I am thinking my stutter caused it as I am a blocker and when I’m in the block, my jaw moves in all kinds of awkward ways when I try to get the words out. Has anyone ever experienced it?
