Does anyone know about dysfluency studies?

Does anyone know about dysfluency studies? Have you guys heard of the social model of dysfluency? I see a lot of dejected people who feel that they have lost their voice because of their stutter here....

I understand. But it's possible that they just meant that the label of stuttering does not automatically imply something bad. They expressed it in the wrong way....
