I stutter both at the beginning and in the middle of word sometimes. Just because you have never encountered something doesn't mean it is any less of a stutter....

Yeah, seems like a stutter. That "blockage" feeling is a very common aspect of stuttering. Only way to know for sure is to see a specialist/therapist to check it out in detail....
