Yeah sometimes its not worth it. Ive gotten sick from stress before. Doesnt help your stuttering either. But I guess you dont know if you can handle it until you try. Good luck...

Yes and no. It will never completely go away, but you can reduce it to a point where you only occasionally stutter. Usually when you're stressed out, excited or very tired....
