Absolutely. I see it used incorrectly on this sub frequently though. The downvote would still exist, it just wouldn’t be visible to everyone on every comment....

The point of downvotes is to indicate that something isn't appropriate or relevant to the sub, it's not a "dislike button" and shouldn't be hurting people's feelings if used correctly....

I have the same issue. Either they treat me like i'm stupid or they get frustrated with me not being able to speak properly. It's genuinely humiliating....

It's just a natural part of life. If you are abnormal in any way people will make fun of you, stutter or not. The best thing to do is just ignore them and try to live your life the best way u can....
