Overhearing peoples remarks I'm a 28M working as a community pharmacist in UK. Recently I've overheard 2 remarks either about the speed of my speech or stuttering on syllables in the last week. For instance, one customer overheard me on the phone and made the comment 'wow how on earth are you supposed to get a word in when he speaks?' to another customer in the pharmacy. How would you guys feel about this? I personally didn't say anything to the customer when I served them, because I feel like usually they misjudge my speech and assume I don't have a problem, however I suppose it's rude to comment on someone's speech. Luckily, I only experience this about once every 3 months which I think is pretty good lol. I am trying to accept my stutter as I don't feel therapy will help tremendously as my stutter is moderate, does anyone else experience this?
