Yeah in an ideal world it wouldn’t hurt anyone’s feelings, but it just seems like someone with a speech impediment could overact, especially if they are young and oversensitive and came here looking for support specifically in their ability to express themselves, and especially given all the random downvotes on this sub (why is this happening btw?) Also like people have said, this wouldn’t effect the actual *function* of up/downvoting, you would still hit the arrows, but the number wouldn’t be displayed
