I stopped trying to push through blocks just simply they take too long to get through I , much easier to stop and restart for me and find another word that's different but has same meaning or sometime...

Same here. I ony stutter while talking to strangers and in crowd and in class or in bus where a lot of people are present. I think mine is also caused by anxiety....

Don't overthink your blocks. Maintaining eye contact is a good thing. Many of us are unable to do so. Whatever you have to do to get through a block. There's nothing wrong about your blocks....

Yes I still stutter. Even when reading alone by myself. It's not as much but I still block on words. Even with close family like my mom. I stutter the most with my dad. And dad is also a stutterer....
