That's a very bad advice. You can do anything you want to do. Stuttering is just the way you talk, and i feel like if you own it and wear it on your sleeve it might even open new opportunities...

I'm in medical school right now I'm glad I never ran into a counselor like that. I've always doubted myself enough and someone telling me that would've shut me down. That counselor can fuck right off....
