I'm in medical school right now I'm glad I never ran into a counselor like that. I've always doubted myself enough and someone telling me that would've shut me down. That counselor can fuck right off. On top of that, I think our experiences as stutterers allow us to have more empathy for patients. I'm sure you'll make a great nurse!
