I agree, he could have done more research on how stutterers actually talk. It was like he was using his presentation voice the entire time. I wish they didn’t have him be the weak character either...

That’s something I can definitely agree with. There is little to know characters in film that depict a strong character that stutters. The only one I can think of is “The King’s Speech”....
