Some additional context: The game essentially takes the form of an interactive story. My theory was that putting people directly in the shoes and life of someone who stutters (instead of just hearing about it) can greatly enhance their understanding of the condition. It was released on October 1st as part of IFComp (the biggest yearly interactive fiction competition), and I've been pleasantly surprised by the feedback! I'm not 100% happy with the way some parts of the game came out, but it seems like overall it's doing a good job of spreading awareness and making people think.
