Yes correct. It’s like a tapping rhythm, I never had any speech therapists before. And usually when someone mentions them, I shut it off as they are not living what we living so they don’t understand....

I think this trick is similar to tapping, where you are told to speak slowly and speak words on the rhythm of the tap of your fingers.And speech therapists do tell you to use it when stammering....

It does work in some cases. I think because there are so many causes of stuttering, degrees of stuttering, and the proficiency of the SLP, it's not reliable in every case....
