I know some stutterers are mixed about avoiding words, but I have switched to saying "I appreciate it". It comes out a lot easier on bad days....

i think, it's same for me, it's always the starter which gives me anxiety and put me in pressure. for instance, if i want to ask something, i can't ask because i could not pull out the starter word...
