I'm covert. My boyfriend was kind of surprised when I told him even when I am positive I've stuttered/blocked in front of him. Maybe he was being nice. Or maybe I'm too hard on myself....

I'm open. Always. I can be fluent if the situation requires, but I don't see the need to hide who you are. Best defense is a good offense IMO...

I'm not sure how helpful this will be. But the National Stuttering Association hosts letters from children who stutter. There's a lot of therapy jargon in there that won't likely be meaningful to you....
