Yes and Yes. Usually my friends notice my stuttering decrease when I have a few drinks, I get more talkative when I'm drunk and stutter so much less. Same goes with MJ although I don't get more talka...

No experience with MJ, but a drink or two will help out my stutter immensely. Any more than that and I start slipping down the slurred speech route. Your mileage may vary....
