Do you have any facial distortion when stuttering? I do, so I know that I won't be able to maintain eye contact simply because my whole head is moving. Thanks for the advice, though! :)...

I do this too. I think it's because I have some control over my speech when I'm sober. When I drink that 'control' becomes impaired....

Advertise and HOLD EYE CONTACT. Even when stuttering. Eye contact = I know what I'm talking about and I'm confident about it. Most communication is done by body language anyway....

Old people don't stutter as much as they did when younger. Coming from my personal experience speaking to older people at a NSA conference....

I've just heard from Prof. Ingham that the MPI treatment will be offered in El Paso as well as Georgia and New York next summer....

Good point, I've heard about that too. But the 'after' videos were recorded one year after the therapy was over and the patients learned to speak fluently in beyond-clinic situations also. If you are ...
