My mother used to stammer stutter. I think because of that I did as well. I actually block more than stammer stutter which I'd imagine just as embarrassing....

Stutterers don’t stutter when they sing. Nor do they stutter when speaking in chorus along with other speakers (I.e. reciting the pledge of allegiance, etc.)...
