I'd be careful about Dr. Schwartz. I think he has a pretty low standing in the stuttering community. Though I did find his research / background info interesting....

I'm not sure how helpful this will be. But the National Stuttering Association hosts letters from children who stutter. There's a lot of therapy jargon in there that won't likely be meaningful to you....
