I’ve noticed a lot posts saying that people don’t stutter when they talk to themselves when alone. But I stutter just as much when I’m alone as when I’m talking to people. Is anyone else like this too?

What I learned in college is that we use a different part of our brain when we’re talking to ourselves or singing than we do when we’re in conversation. This is true for everyone, not just us who stut...

I have brain damage and developed a neurogenic stutter about 7 years ago. The one thing I would have never have guessed about being a stutterer is how exhausting a simple conversation can be.
