I find if I have a few good stiff drinks the night before the interview helps. I find the slight hang-over eliminates the stutter and I can focus on giving the best answers....

I think that there's a sweet spot when it comes to alcohol and anxiety reduction. Just be careful and mindful of your ability to answer technical questions while under the influence....

I tried a couple times in college but it was a bad experience. Alcohol does not make me any more confident or fluent. And that would be an easy path to addiction....

Haha yes the well known ramblings of ecstasy. It had the same effect on me, and days after I was also fluent. Anytime I'm "drained" I speak better. A few times a week though? That's a rough come down....
