I don't know if it's the same for you, but having developed a stutter later in life makes me feel like I don't really have a right to talk about it, because my experience isn't the same as those of people who have always lived with it. It's been almost four years now, and I keep thinking "What if it's just temporary and suddenly goes away?". Because of this, I've never dared to meet with any support groups or other people affected, except here on Reddit.
