James Earl Jones’ stutter was so bad that he became voluntarily mute as a kid. His story is an inspiration that not only did he become a renowned actor, he became especially known for his commanding voice. This makes me sad but he has decades of work that I hope people will continue to revisit for years to come (I would recommend Matewan and The Great White Hope to anyone looking for great performances from him that are lesser seen).
