Something else I’d like to add, I was prescribed a low dose of Xanax about six years back, it was .25mg. It wasn’t for my stutter it was for anxiety. I noticed that when I was on it, it did help me a lot because it forced my brain and motor skills to kinda “shut down” but I wouldn’t recommend it because it literally eats chunks of your memory. Again I’m not a medical professional, just sharing what has worked for me and I wanted to be transparent with all of you! I personally don’t think I’d ever take it again long term, I was on it for a year straight, prescribed one a day and I don’t remember a ton from that year which sucks! Can’t wait to share with all of you my results from Abilify. I will be documenting this so I’ll include side effects, things I notice, speech fluency.
