Haha. I was really comfortable with my best friend in elementary/middle school, so I would tell my jokes to him mostly stutter-free, then he would repeat them to our large group of friends. I got to enjoy how my sense of humor made others laugh without any unwanted attention. Win-win for me and my friend back then.
