If it helps, I started consuming lot of stoic philosophy as well. One of my favorite stoic mantra I try to live by is: "The obstacle is the way". Every obstacle gives me an opportunity to work towards overcoming it, and come out even stronger. I used to spend an hour listening to stoic quotes on long walks, at least 4-5 times a week. These days, I've been able to change my mindset to actually seek obstacles, and I;ve started enjoy the challenge it brings. I quit my well paying job. Then spent 6 months looking for a new one. and accepted a less paying and more challenging job. This would be unthinkable for me 5 years back. Hope this will help you.
