I have experienced this. And I know the stand up comedian you’re referring to. He’s wonderful, and totally inspiring. But there are times why I get uncomfortable watching. I think it’s because I picture myself in that situation, owning my stutter, and I get a weird kind of secondhand embarrassment. As if I were watching myself. Idk Maybe a part of me wishes I could have that brand of hutzpah when it pertains to my impediment.
