I'm a 50+ year stutterer and most people don't know I have a problem. I just started blocking words and I found my comfort zone through the years. I am happily married to someone that knows my condition. Stuttering will never be a issue with family or close friends. Ignore the sob stories and do what works for you. I don't believe in self petty. Good luck :)
