Agree with this 100%. It's tough, believe me I know. But ultimately, we're responsible for how we interpret and how we react to it every single day. Blaming "life" and simply feeling sorry for ourselves always makes it worse. We were a dealt a bad hand, but how we play it is still up to us. I'm going through a tough period myself right now so I know how it hurts. Fucking hell, it hurts. Feel the pain, then do something about it though. Speak to someone at work or home who you trust whenever you're feeling shitty about it. Focus on ways on becoming a more effective communicator with a stutter(Toastmasters and the McGuire Course are great in this regard), and I would even suggest disclosing to your colleagues how you'll be trying to do this. You'll be surprised at how empathetic people can be. Fuck, this went on longer than I thought. You're not alone in this, man! But it's still your responsibility to live the life you deserve.
