Are you an SLP? Respectfully that’s false, stuttering is something in the speech world that there is very little on. There is no “cure” or even set in stone proven method of therapy, every SLP will say that they individualize treatment. So for a patient, if saying filler sounds and words periodically throughout speaking helps the fluency of their speech then that’s what helps. And there’s no such thing as “secondary stuttering” there’s Secondary characteristics, which is just head jerking, clinching of the jaw, rapid eye blinking, etc that typically come with stuttering.
