Well, I rarely think about it anymore, certainly weeks can go by where I forget it.  Like many others will say it is still there, the mechanics of poor sound creation are fairly life long. However the psychology behind rampingup those issues doesn't have to be. What I don't do now is give a toss when it does occasionally happen, I treat it like I've dropped a crumb on the carpet.
