How to Unblock ?

How to Unblock ? The worst thing about having to deal with stuttering are tonic blocks. Sometimes , i get these "micro" blocks. They usually last for half a second or 1 second. But some of the time , I also get these severe blocks , which are you really hard to get through. Its kinda hard to describe it but I'll try Initially before speaking i would anticipate the word I'm going to say whether or not I would stutter (this happens really quick , like automatically , could be because my thought pattern is wired that way ) Then follows the tension especially in vocal cords , chest and abdomen (even before speaking ) . Then I would consciously move my articulators to form a sound , let's say the sound is "P" on feared word , I would put my lips together and try to form the sound but no matter how hard I try , no sound would come out , 2 or 3 seconds later , my lips would be moving but in fixed position. all this time , I'm incredibly tense . This whole process would take about 5 or 6 seconds , then I would eventually substitute the word. When this happens , it really drains my energy and makes me not talk to anyone for the whole day. Any tips ? Is it possible to improve or is it never gonna get easy and I'll have to deal with this forever. It only started happening recently. I wasn't like this before . I used to have blocks for sure but the word would eventually come out , but now it doesn't even come out , no matter how long.
