These kind of posts really put me off from this sub-reddit. I recently installed Amazon Echo Dot in my room and I had some initial hiccups with saying Alexa, or I'd stutter while speaking the command. But that was more of a reason for me to install it, so that I could face my fears and my challenges. It's been more than a week now and I seldom stutter on saying "Alexa". If we're going to let these things hold us back from speaking, we'd never get anywhere. I know this post is meant to be a joke, but it's a very defeatist circle jerk. I often think about unsubscribing from this sub-reddit, but there are occasionally some good posts. It is okay to vent, but sometimes it gets too much.
