Seek therapy and a psychiatrist, don't just "hop on" an SSRI. You may be depressed but SSRIs may not even be th right choice for you; I'm on Wellbutrin and it's so much better than SSRIs were for me. Stay away from alpha/beta/sigma language. Those concepts don't really exist. There are local social hierarchies but they shift in every new environment. I'm 23 and I was similar to you at 20. I've improved so much since then in my life, although my stutter has only very mildly improved (probably because I'm less depressed and more excited to talk now). Getting stuck in this mindset will just delay your improvement
