Could Piracetam help with stuttering?

Could Piracetam help with stuttering? Several months ago there was a [scientific article](https://www.cbs.mpg.de/stuttering-in-the-brain) that showed a positive correlation between overactive areas of the right IFG (a region responsible for halting the flow of speech) and adults who stutter, leading to a conclusion that the right IFG might be inhibiting the left IFG (a region that supports speech). [Full article here](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5837552/). I was recently reading another [article that shows Piracetam increasing blood flow to the left IFG](http://stroke.ahajournals.org/content/31/9/2112). This lead me to conclude that Piracetam could potentially aid in "activating" the stutterers depressed left IFG. Obviously there's several problems with this conclusion, including that the Piracetam study involved patients with acute aphasia of various types after ischemic stroke of the left hemisphere, not stutterers. Also, it'd be better if I could conclude that Piracetam could help suppress the right IFG, but something's better than nothing right? Anyways, I'm going to start taking Piracetam (2x2400 mg daily as per the study) to see if it helps any.
