i would definitely be weirded out by that. i understand why they did it but still odd, i’m sure they had good intentions. if you feel like you want to say something don’t be embarrassed to! they might have simply not realised how that would embarrass you because A LOT of people are unsure about how to go about responding to someone who stutters, what not to do etc.
