Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. I really appreciate it. I too have faced similar situations in which I've used my middle name because I just can't utter my first name but the problem is I'm used to people calling me by my first name so it feels weird when I use my other name but I can say it without much difficulty. Sometimes, I feel that at least if I was able to say my name without any such struggle, I'd be able to deal with a lot of situations, specially the ones that I keep avoiding.
