I do stutter when I say my name, but I didn't when I was in my 20's. I think it's because I was very confident and wanted everyone to remember me. When I hit my 30's, it hit me hard. It was so bad that I would avoid the first 5 mins of meetings just so I wouldn't have to introduce myself. I found that saying it slower and in a monotone way, it's helped. A few other things that I'm doing that send to help, - Say my name when the person didn't ask -Say the full sentence "my name is..." In a very monotone way - Practice in front of a mirror and imagining that I'm introducing myself to others Anytime else try any of those? Did any of it help? I've found some early success in them.
