Does stuttering run in your family?

Does stuttering run in your family? I tried to find out where stuttering comes from an I always read that in most cases there is a pretty big genetic component, aka. stuttering runs in the family. Of course there are athor factors, but genetics are always far up on the list. But in my case I´m the only one in my family to have a stutter. Now I ask myself if that´s really as uncommon as I think. So what are your experiences?
