I felt the same going through speech therapy as a kid. The only thing that helped me was going to a support group with other stuttering people as well as this sub. I’m actually going to college to become a speech therapist. I believe the only way a stuttering person can get actual help is from a speech therapist who also stutters. It’s like the whole master and student thing in karate movies. The master has “walked the walk” and they are the teacher of it.
