Is it rude to learn sign language as a way to communicate more because of my stutter? My stutter is getting worse like every sentunce has either a block or reacuring thing and its so ANNOYING trying to speak and stopping every two seconds because of it. Im thinking about learning sign language as a way to communicate things I know i wont be able to say. Like words like yellow and but for instance ill speak when i notice ill stutter i just sign because it'll not only be more easier for me but for others around. I just want to know if this is like rude or offensive because I can hear and speak but its just difficult? I also wanna calrify its a maybe i dont know yet because family, friends might not feel comfy learning it but if i am offending someone please say because that is not what i wanna do! Sorry for the drag but Thanks!
