What were your experiences (or your child's experience) with the Lidcombe programme for stuttering?

What were your experiences (or your child's experience) with the Lidcombe programme for stuttering? I think that the Lidcombe stutter therapy is in the top 3 of most popular speech therapies. It makes use of reinforcement / punishment. What was your (or your child's) experience with it? Good? Bad? Would you recommend it? (Why or why not?)
