Moses had stammer:fact In the book of Exodus Moses reveals a personal flaw that some moviemakers have obscured: He evidently has a speech impediment. (Exodus 3:10) says "Moses now said to Jehovah: “Pardon me, Jehovah, but I have never been a fluent speaker, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant, for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” In one instance Moses wanted to excuse himself from speaking before Pharaoh because he was “uncircumcised in lips,” that is, as though his lips had a foreskin over them and hence were too long and thick to utter speech with ease. He may have had some sort of speech impediment. (Ex 6:12, 30)
