Hi I found this extremely difficult at the time (over 20 years ago), a function of my own shame. I took the plunge and ended up marrying herself. We have 3 wonderful kids, they brighten up my day, the days when I endure really bad blocks and a hug from them makes it all a bit easier, all the more worthwhile The older and wiser I’ve become, the more I’ve appreciated the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships in spite of it all
