Thank you for your lengthy response! Yes, my fiance told be that her stutter has gotten progressively worse when she was in high school (to the point where she couldn't finish a sentence without a stammer). But since than becoming an adult and moving to the States (she's from England) she doesn't stutter as much (can a talk quite lengthy without stuttering) thanks to speech therapy and also for being more confident with age. P.S. sounds like your parents were really great and supportive! :)
